What is check in and check out time?
A: Check in time is 2:00 PM and check out time is 11:00 AM.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We operate all year from 9:30 AM till 2:00 AM.
Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: Reservations may be made by phone using our 1 800 number.
To make a reservation a valid credit card number is needed to
guarantee the room.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: 50% of the first night rental fee will be charged if we do not recieve a 48 hour notice of cancellation. Reservations that are not cancelled will be charged the first nights rental fee and if applicable the second and subsequent nights will be automatically cancelled. For larger group reservations, the cancellation policy will be communicated to the person making the reservations.
Q: What amenities do you have in your rooms?
A: All of our rooms are air-conditioned, have refrigerators,
microwaves, hair dryers, coffee
makers, phones, remote colour televisions with enhanced cable
channels and of course all rooms have high speed internet
connections, both wired and wireless.
Q: Do you have a pool?
A: We have an outdoor heated pool that operates during the summer
months.
Q: Do you have queen-sized beds?
A: Yes, all of our rooms have queen-size beds. We have rooms
with one
or rooms with two queen size beds.
Q: Does the Canadiana Inn have rooms that are non-smoking?
A: Yes, 90% of all our rooms are non-smoking rooms.
Q: Are there restaurants close to the Canadiana Inn?
A: Yes there are several good restaurants along Dundas Street
within walking distance. Brothers Ristorante located across
the street from the Canadiana is an excellent restaurant. Very
popular with local residents, this restaurant offers our guests
a 10% discount on food orders.
Q: Is the Canadiana Inn located in a safe area?
A: The Canadiana Inn is located in a commercial - residential
area. We are located on Dundas Street which is the main east-west
thoroughfare going through Whitby. We have a well-lit property,
this area is very safe.
Q: How far are you located from Toronto or the Toronto Zoo?
A: Down town Toronto is approximately 30 to 45 minutes by car
depending on traffic. The Toronto Zoo is 15 minutes by car.
Q: How close are you to shopping areas?
A: The Oshawa Centre is five minutes drive and offers 180 stores
for your shopping pleasure. Downtown Whitby offers Pearson Lanes.
